PAERANGI

• Concerns from whānau that covid information was not easy to follow or accessible, not Māori relevant and difficult to find  
• Due to a substantial increase in community efforts across all sectors,  a service directory was needed to advise who was doing what, where and how to engage
• Te Roopu Waiora, Te Kotahi a Tamaki and Te Ohonga worked together to create Paerangi with support from provider and government agency volunteers

The Paerangi web-site is being upgraded and will include a roll out to the rest of Aotearoa.

TE ROOPU WAIORA:

• Is a unique, kaupapa Māori oganisation founded and governed by whānau hauā (whānau with disabilities) 
• Is a charitable trust and social enterprise with a broad scope of initiatives developed and led by whānau
• Established in 2001, based in Manukau, supporting whānau hauā from across the Tāmaki Makaurau region
